jemapelleivy: The original University Library of University of the Philippines (along Faura Street)  This was before it was damaged during World War II, along with other UP buildings. The University of the Philippines then moved to Diliman, Quezon City and later rebuilt the damaged structures in Manila. Today, the Supreme Court building stands on where this library was before. The current UP library in Manila is but a fifth of the original grand edifice.
